Troy has been an active member of professional organizations on both a state and national level, and served as a board member to many local economic development organizations. As well, he has been on the board of the Mid-American Economic Development Corporation and Japan America Society of Indiana. Over the years, he has committed his support to industry specific groups and organizations, as well as local civic and professional organizations.
As the Executive Director for the Indy Partnership, Troy will take a leading role in building the necessary relationships to bring new businesses, jobs and investment to the 10-county Indianapolis region. Just recently, Development Counselor’s International recognized The Indy Partnership as “Best in Class” among regional economic development groups in the 2011 edition of "Winning Strategies in Economic Development Marketing".
An Indiana native, Troy received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from IUPUI in Indianapolis. He continued his education attending the Economic Development Institute and graduating from the Economic Development Academy at Ball State University. Over the past 25 years, Troy has had a dynamic career leading sales, marketing and economic development organizations on both a regional and local level. He has experience in energy services, as well as public and private sales and business development.
